About Courses

A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce provides a student with an in-depth understanding of subjects such as finance, marketing, and law. The Choice Based Credit, Grading, and Semester method is used for the three-year Bachelor of Commerce degree. It is organized and created to give graduates academic understanding and practical abilities in all facets of business and finance. It seeks to educate graduates with highly developed analytical skills, critical and strategic thinking, as well as effective communication and social skills. The curriculum makes sure that students are subjected to rigorous academics in the numerous courses included in the programme to broaden their knowledge base. The programme also includes skill-based courses that prepare the students for the workplace.

ELIGIBILITY

A student must have earned at least 45% of the required aggregate marks in the 12th Standard from the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent in order to be admitted to the first year, first semester of the B. Com programme at University of Mumbai A student must have passed all of the first two semesters' coursework in order to be promoted to the second year, or they should not fail in more than two subjects in each of the first and second semesters To be promoted to third year, a student must have earned a perfect score in each of the previous four semesters, have no cross ATKT, or have not failed more than two subjects in either the FY or SY.
