B. Sc. Information Technology is an undergraduate science course of 3 years dealing with software, databases, and networking designed to impart theoretical and practical knowledge on storing, processing and managing information securely.

About Courses

BSc.IT program is a three years undergraduate degree course with six semesters i.e. two semesters in each year. It is one of the most popular options to get started with a career in Information Technology. The course gives the students an insight into the world of computers and its applications. The main objectives of the course are to create trained professionals who can think logically, imaginatively and critically in developing robust, extensile and highly sustainable technological solutions to simple and complex problems. They can apply their knowledge and skills to be employed and excel in IT professional careers and/or to continue their education in IT and/or related post graduate programs. The program curriculum has been designed such that the practical applications of the subjects are understood, learned and then imbibed by each student in an easy and effective manner.

ELIGIBILITY


First Year Second Year Third Year
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the B. Sc..IT degree course shall have passed XII std from Commerce/Science with Mathematics as compulsory subject from Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate at first attempt (40% in case of reserved category). All clear in Sem I and Sem II or not more than 2 ATKT in Sem I and Sem II or Not more than 200 marks KT in Sem I and Sem II. All clear in Sem I, Sem II, Sem III and Sem IV or All clear in second year and not more than 2 KTs in SEM I and Sem II or All clear in First year and not more than 2 KTs in SEM III and Sem IV.
